Our Process

At Crafted Hats Co., we pride ourselves on making the highest quality hats and headwear for you or your organization.  We use top of the line equipment for accurate designs and engravings, along with premium materials that will last a lifetime of wear and tear.  Our hats and headwear are based on the most well known and respected brands that you've come to know and love.  You may already have one of the brands we carry so you know how they fit on you.  We never outsource our process or materials, and take care to craft the best hats.  

The Process

For patches, we start with premium leatherette that are eco-friendly and environmentally safe to wear.  Our acrylic patches offer a polish and shine that will make your designs stand above the rest, check out our dual or tri-layer colors for even greater visibility and style.  

Our commercial grade equipment are industry standard and are calibrated to deliver the most accurate cuts and engravings.  We use high power and highly accurate lasers to create your designs.

The assembly process mates your patches to your hats and we measure placement for accurate and symmetry.

Quality Control

Every patch and hat is double and triple checked for quality assurance, we will never ship out a hat that does not meet our high standards.  Properly calibrated machinery and close attention to material differences helps us deliver your design and hat as you expect.  We run material tests and maintain/clean our equipment often to the point of obssession!  We believe that a clean workshop is an accurate workshop.  

Shipping and Packaging

Each custom hat order is packed in heavy duty shipping boxes to ensure safe travels from our shop to your door.  We bag each hat to protect against the elements and guarantee that your hat will not arrive damaged or deformed, or we will replace it for free.
